How do you brand a residential development in Mérida, Yucatán, that feels less like a neighborhood and more like the gateway to something mythical?
THE IDEA
Madreceiba isn’t just a place to live—it’s an entrance to another dimension. A residential development built in one of Mérida’s most privileged areas, surrounded by lush nature and an almost otherworldly serenity. The concept was clear: The threshold to a magical dimension—a space where ancestral mysticism meets modern comfort, creating a conscious, harmonious way of living.

Madreceiba isn’t just a place to live—it’s an entrance to another dimension. A residential development built in one of Mérida’s most privileged areas, surrounded by lush nature and an almost otherworldly serenity. The concept was clear: The threshold to a magical dimension—a space where ancestral mysticism meets modern comfort, creating a conscious, harmonious way of living.
The brand needed to capture this essence: a mythical community deeply rooted in nature, designed for calm and wellness. So, we crafted a visual identity that feels like a portal—earthy yet ethereal, timeless yet contemporary. A brand that breathes, flows, and invites you in—because some places aren’t just meant to be lived in, they’re meant to be experienced.
Inspired by the ceiba tree, a sacred symbol in Mayan culture believed to connect the earthly and spiritual realms, the branding embraces fluidity, organic shapes, and a serene yet powerful presence. Every detail, from the typography to the color palette, is a nod to nature’s balance—where the past and the future coexist, and every moment feels like a step into something greater.
